Men

In 2016 I moved to Osaka, Japan. Whilst there I rediscovered my fascination for taking photos of people and engaging in moments with strangers however long or fleeting. At some point a subconscious project began evolving focusing on older men and their daily existence. Spontaneous conversations and informal portraits were the results of these warm encounters.

This is a personal work ruminating on gender, the role of the elderly in society and growing up.
